A graphite boat is a graphite mold. The graphite mold itself serves as a carrier, allowing us to place the raw materials and components that need to be positioned or shaped together in the graphite mold for high-temperature sintering and shaping. Graphite molds are made from artificial graphite through mechanical processing. So graphite molds are sometimes called graphite boats, and some are also referred to as graphite vessels. Graphite boats feature high-temperature resistance, no contamination of the medium, and a small coefficient of expansion. Moreover, they can withstand rapid temperature changes and are widely used in powder metallurgy sintering processes such as hard alloys. The main varieties include graphite ark, graphite round boat, graphite semi-round boat, graphite special-shaped boat, boat push plate and die, etc.
